Day after Christmas

Here's a card I did with one of the older digital images from Faith over at Designed 2 Delight. She's got some adorable images in the store and the Design Team has some great inspiration here.

Merry Christmas to all!

Hope you are all having a wonderful day. We are up at Kim's with Brandy and Jason and all Kim's kiddos. We will leave from there to go to my dh's daughter's home in Arlington and stay - then home again on Sunday - lots of driving but getting to see everyone. Here's a couple of cards to share for the week.

This is my last week on the Design Team over at The Sweet Stop - it's been a lot of fun and have enjoyed working with these talented ladies. The image is from the Sweet & Sassy shop and the papers are from Graphic 45, cardstock from Core'dinations.

Then here's my card for the sketch this week at Unscripted Sketches. Used a Unity Stamp for this one and some Jillibean Soup papers. Core'dinations cardstock of course.

Then a BIG announcement over at Core'dinations again! Check it out! Thanks for visiting and hope Santa was good to you!

Christmas is coming!

Happy Saturday! I'm still riding on cloud 9 after passing my CCRN on Thursday. I can now put all these initials after my name, RN, BSN, CMC (Certified Case Manager), CCRN (Critical Care RN) and now am starting to study for the CNRN which is the Certified Neuro RN. I take that test some time in March. Another MAJOR hard one. Doesn't matter how much you study they are HARD! But once done as long as you keep up your CEUs you are good forever!
Well to share today I have some cards for you first and then a little Core'dinations reminder. My first card is for The Sweet Stop - my term is coming to an end this month with them - one last card after this. Guess I will need to be looking in a new direction. The image is from the Sweet and Sassy shop and the papers are from Graphic 45.

The next card is for the sketch at Unscripted Sketches this week. For this double challenge to use no patterned paper I went straight to Core'dinations papers - you can emboss them or use them as is. This from the new Core Couture collection. I used some digital images for my ornaments and printed them out on the cardstock and then "hung" them.
This last card I did for Faith's birthday over at Designed 2 Delight. We all surprised here with cards made using some of her digital images. I went way back here and used some old Scenic Route which in my book never gets old - just better.
Last of all want to remind everyone to get over to the Core'dinations blog - we are having a 12 days of Christmas technique show and there are some fabulous prizes being given out each and every day you stop in and leave a comment. Think I've got some cards that will be up there this weekend or next week. Thanks for stopping by - hope everyone is getting all ready for Christmas - now it's my turn! Got to get cards out and things ready for next week.

Sunday

Here is the card I did for Designed 2 Delight using this week's freebie. I used Core'dinations Gemstones paper on my background and embossed it. Then used Core basic white for the tree - I have a Cuttlebug embossing folder that does this tree - then I cut it out and used Sticklers on it and added some Queen & Co. beads. The star on the tree is another of Faith's new images - just made it really small for the treetop. On the base of the bear I used Petal Soft to create a snowy feel. Go on over to Designed 2 Delight for more inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by! Brandy will be home next Sunday and we are all getting excited!

Saturday again!

Wow Saturday again - tired! Long week with getting called to Jury Duty on Monday. FINALLY after two LONG days (I don't sit still well - imagine that!) they decided I would probably not be a good juror on an assault case using a deadly weapon ( as a RN taking care of the victims there was no way I could consider giving the minimum sentence and parole). They my dear son (18 going on 3 sometimes) left a TON of on line math tests to finish last night so was up most of the night helping him get them done. Don't think my kids ever appreciated that I am good at math - just assume they will always have help!
Anyway on to more fun stuff. Here's two Design Team cards this week. Sniff Sniff - The Sweet Stop term is coming to a close this month - have so enjoyed working with this team but will look and find a new home soon I hope - or maybe I will just devote more time to submitting. This is my card for The Sweet Stop this week - I used one of the Cherry Blossom images from the Sweet and Sassy digital stamps and some Core'dinations Vintage cardstock for this one. Other papers are from a Noel Mignon kit.

The next card is for Unscripted Sketches this week. For this one I used a new stamp from Lily of the Valley that I haven't had a chance to use yet. Papers are from Graphic 45's new line and punch is one of my new ones from Martha Stewart!

Then I was excited to be selected as the Featured Member of the week over at Color Combo's Galore. I got this color pallete with the challenge to use "gift" on my page. After creating the first page I wasn't sure I had the green right so made the second page as well. First page is my grandchildren (Kim's) at Christmas the other year that we got to spend with them. The last is my great-nephew, Brayden, our little miracle boy who has already survived three open heart procedures in three short years. Both layouts feature some of Core'dinations awesome cardstock
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful weekend. I hear it's going to be in the 70's here and an tempted to take the top off my new baby (Jeep Wrangler!) and take a ride (will probably freeze but the beach is calling me to take the top off - load it up and ride!)

Sunday Sharing

Not alot to share but a layout and a card. Had several Design Team cards to get out today but they aren't for show as yet. This is a page I did for the color combo this week over at Color Combo Galore.

The next one is for the sketch over at Card Patterns this week. Love this sketch. The papers are from Graphic 45 and the cardstock is the new cardstock that Core'dinations has put out together with Graphic 45 - speaking of which - check out the Core'dinations blog this week for a week long extravaganza of Graphic 45 - the Design Team has put together some amazing work with this new paper line!. It's up there in my top favorites from Core'dinations right along with the Core'Amour line. Thanks for stopping by -maybe more later this week. Gor called to Jury Duty tomorrow - keeping my fingers crossed it will be a short day and they will send me home!

Happy Saturday once again!

Gotta love the weekends. This was my first week back after surgery - thinking it might have been too soon. I'm worn out.
I have some cards to share today. First of all is my card for Unscripted Sketches this week. For this I used some Echo Park papers and one of my new Lily of the Valley stamps.

Next I have my card for The Sweet Stop this week. For this one I used some papers from Prima and another Lily of the Valley stamp.

Then this week Faith over at Designed 2 Delight has this beautiful poinsettia freebie image this week. Isn't it pretty. The papers are Graphic 45. The second one is another image Faith recently put out that can be used as a Christmas Image or a summer one. Since I'm DONE (HEAR THAT DONE!) with my Christmas cards (that's like about 60 cards) I went for the beach! Papers are from Imaginisce.

Thanks so much for stopping by - your sweet comments make my day!

Card Patterns and CPS

Just a couple of card I got done that I wanted to post. Didn't realize that I used the same sentiment on each one until I got ready to post them. First is the card for Card Patterns. I used Core'dinations cardstock and Echo Park papers. The stamp is from Unity Stamp Company.

The next card is for CPS this week - talk about some OLD papers I found these and decided I still loved them. The stamp is from Unity, cardstock from Core'dinations and papers from Imaginisce

Thanks for stopping by!

Be on the lookout!

Be sure to stop by the Core'dination's Blog to check out what the Design Team has done with the new Graphic 45 collection.

Sunday Sharing

First off is the sketch from over at Lily of the Valley. I used one of their adorable stamps on this one and some Jillibean papers. Sentiment stamp is from Unity Stamp Company.

Next is a page I did with a couple of the pictures I took on Thanksgiving day and used the inspiration from Color Combo's this week for my colors. This is my daughter, Kim, with her daughter, MaKenna. Cardstock is all Core'dinations (jillibean line) and Core Cardstock. Tag is Jillibean and flowers are Prima. Bird is from Webster's Pages.
And here's a couple more pictures from Thanksgiving day. This is my youngest grandson, Kadin, who was visiting us here from Georgia - hated to see them go home!

Thanks for stopping by!

Saturday posting and a D2D blog hop!

WOW! What a wonderful Thanksgiving! Two of my daughters were here with all the grandkids (7 between them), Jason was here of course and I only missed having Brandy out in California. She spent the holiday with some friend's of my oldest daughter (Kim) but OHHHHHH was she missing being here. Constant texting ALL day long! The weather was perfect - the food awesome (outdid myself if I have to say on the dressing!) and everyone had a blast. Of course with all the kids a basketball team is readily available and the kids played for a long time. We were able to get some awesome pictures - I'll add here but more on facebook.
BUT back to business. First off we are having a blog hop at Designed 2 Delight. With surgery and family coming I didn't get to do a "project" like a lot of the team members but I do have some cards to share. I actually have another one I'll try to add in the morning but was too late to get a picture this evening when I got it done. Here's three of the newest images that Faith is putting out. She's really been on a roll lately with some wonderful image - visit her shop to purchase any you weren't able to get by taking part in her weekly give-aways.

Then over at Unscripted sketches this week here's the latest sketch. I am DONE, FINISHED, yes DONE with Christmas cards and am ready to move on so I have gone in a different direction now. The stamps are from Unity Stamp Company and the papers are Echo Park.
The next card is for the sketch over at The Sweet Stop this week. I used one of my new Mo Digital Pencil images for this one - isn't it sweet. The papers are from Prima - love the soft colors for a change (you know I'm a really loud color person at heart!)
Now to share a few of the pictures I got: The first is all the grandkids at their table - except Jason, my son, who though this might be the safer table! Then a picture with my mother and all the kids ( this took about 20 takes!) Then Kim, me and Kristi, Kim and Kristi and the last one Kim and MaKenna. I have many more but they are so large I'm having a hard time getting them posted together so another day. Thanks for stopping by.
