Sunday Sharing!

Love the fact that this day went SLOW! Yesterday whizzed by - we went out car shopping after we went to the grocery store and found me a Jeep that I liked. Now Charlie will car shop around until he finds the best deal. I absolutely refuse to go with him when he is negotiating to buy anything - just tell me when and where to sign! He can make the deal. Today I don't have alot to share because I'm working on work for Core'dinations and it's not sharable quite yet. But I do have a little here to show and some more on my desk if I can finish up tonight. This card is for the sketch over at Taylored Expressions - when I saw this sketch I knew exactly what stamp I would be using. Papers are Echo Park, stamp is from Elizabeth Bell.

Then over at Color Combos this week I found this wonderful inspiration. I used some Core'dinations cardstock - this is from the Cosmo Cricket Collection and some papers from a Noel Mignon kit together with a beautiful flower from Faith over at Designed 2 Delight. The little cuties are my great nieces, Hailey and Katy.

Then over at Get Sketchy I found this sketch. I have to admit I did the last card here for it and then realized I didn't follow the sketch at all so made this one. For this I got to play with some of the new Core'dinations line with Graphic 45 - papers are Graphic 45 as well. Love this stuff - core makes everything fun!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Happy Saturday!

WOW sooooooooooooooo glad this week is over! We have been so busy at work and Friday's everything just seems to blossom - everyone wants everyone out to get ready for the next crunch of patients. Enough!
The first card today is from The Sweet Stop. Love this week's sketch and I immediately thought of this paper by Core'dinations as perfect for this. Sand it and it's got a has another pattern underneath.

The next card is for the sketch at Unscripted Sketches. For this one I used one of my new stamps from Lily of the Valley together with some October Afternoon paper.

This last card is for the image that Faith has this week at Designed 2 Delight. Is this not an adorable image!

Thanks for stopping by - will have more before the weekend is over - found some sketches I just can't resist!

CPS

Gearing up for the weekend. Think we are going car shopping this Saturday. DH is without wheels and it's getting old so I'm getting a new car and he's getting mine. Finished this up Tuesday but was too late to take a picture and I worked in the ICU last night - busy busy busy! So I was too tired to care about much when I got home. All card goodies except the Core'dinations cardstock are from my last year's Noel Mignon Christmas kit.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sunday cards!

Almost didn't get anything posted today! I had some work to do for Core'dinations that I can't show off yet but kept me busy most of yesterday. And I had to get some cleaning in - actually got more done than I thought I would. BUT today I found some time to make these cards and a couple to get ahead with Design Team cards. First of all I wanted to play with the sketch over at Get Sketchy. These papers are from the new Core'dinations line that Core'dinations has done with Graphic 45. My papers are also Graphic 45's Christmas collection - they work so well together. Very Vintage and not my normal run in cards but I'm having so much fun with it!

This next card is for the challenge over at Lily of the Valley for a winter card. For this I used some Core'dinations cardstock - embossed and sanded it and then added this adorable stamp I just got in the mail last week. Let me say I'm totally addicted to their stamps - every time I look at their challenges I see another one I want. SOOO I've been pacing myself and ordering a few at a time. Not such a shock to the old checkbook watcher!.

Then this next one is from Designed 2 Delight's digital images. Hey I'm knocking out a dent in the 50+ Christmas cards I've got to get done before the holidays. I start in September and then am usually mostly done when the time comes without the extra stress of having to try to knock out a big batch at one time. Plus when I can do a couple at a time I can spend more quality time on them.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful week.

Saturday Cards

Yeah it's Saturday again! Time to scrap! It's been really busy at the hospital this week so I am more than ready for some time away! Today I have a few cards to start off with for this week. I got this done a couple of days ago but couldn't put together any time to get it up and posted. This is the CPS sketch this week. I pulled out the Core'dinations Core Amour for this card and used one of my Unity stamps for the center sentiment. My dancing daughter will like this one.

Next if the first of my weekly Design Team cards. This is my card for The Sweet Stop's sketch this week. For this I used papers from one of Noel Mignon's kits for most of the card, Core'dinations cardstock and the image is Faith's.

The last card is for my card this week at Unscripted Sketches using this sketch. I used some papers from a Noel Mignon kit once again. ( I am going to get through all these kits I have backed up here!)
As always thanks for stopping by - your comments mean alot!

Sunday Sharing

WOW this was supposed to be a long three day weekend but it flew by! I had to do something on Friday that ended up taking most all day, then yesterday we took my son in to but a few things - shoes, undies, and of course that lead to a few clothes too! Then today I started on my marathon cleaning spree. Spent TWO, yes TWO, long hours cleaning my bathroom. Makes me wonder what I was doing when I planned this house - there all all kinds of corner, niches, etc, that collect dirt and dust. This was a down and dirty, tooth brush cleaning, scrubbing and ended up scrubbing the floor the same way. BUT it's done! Move on to another room next. Starting off the Sunday line-up (well needless to say I DID squeeze some scrap time in!), is another card from Faith's gorgeous Pink collection at Designed 2 Delight
Then Core'dinations has been calling my name lately and since we have so many new wonderful collections this year to play with I did just that. The first layout is from the Graphic 45 collection together with Graphic 45 Christmas collection. The adorable little guy is my greatnephew, Brayden, our own little miracle baby who is currently ready to celebrate this 4th Christmas after having been through 3 open-heart procedures as well as celebrating his new little brother this year.

This page is from the Jenni Bowlin collection of papers using some of the Imaginisce papers and goodies we were given to show. These little cuties are my great-nieces, Hailey and Katy.

Then for pure play here's my card for The Get Sketchy sketch this week. Using some Echo Park here on this one.
Thanks once again for stopping by! Hope you have a wonderful week!

Breast Cancer Awareness Day

I'm doing this today is memory of my sister's best friend, Ellen, who we all dearly loved for many many years and who courageously battle breast cancer and beat it until last year when we had to say goodbye. Also for my two brave fellow-employees ( co-worker and boss) who have conkered Breast Cancer.

Over at Unscripted Sketches the girls have really rocked an image we were provided as well as the entire "Pink" concept with their cards. We have a little blog hop going on and I encourage you to stop by each one and leave a little love. All us girls could use a little love today - we never really know which one of us will be next. Please be sure to get your mamograms and do them each and every year. It's your life!

From here you need to jump on over to Angy's blog.

Here's my card for the sketch over at The Sweet Stop this week. For this I used an adorable little image I got and papers from a Noel Mignon Christmas kit.

This is my card that I did for the gorgeous image that Faith over at Designed 2 Delight has given us to use in light of Breast Cancer awareness. I love this image!! Papers and all goodies are from another Noel Mignon kit.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I intend to get some cards and layouts out this weekend as well as clean my filthy house!

Sunday cards!

Hate knowing I have to go back to work tomorrow - three day weekends should be the norm! Just not quite ready! Sharing some cards today. First I have two new images from Designed to Delight. Faith has just been outdoing herself lately on these lovely digital images!

Next I have a card I created with a Lily of the Valley stamp and did for the fall card challenge that's going on there this week. Lots of goodies from a Noel Mignon kit here.

Then I did this card for the sketch over at Get Sketchy this week. More goodies from a Noel Mignon kit here yet again - I AM going to get through all these kits I bought! The stamps are from a Recollections set I bought the other day. Bunch of cute stamps in this double pack!
Thanks again for stopping by - hope to keep creating this week but will see how it goes!

Design Team Saturday cards!

After a stressful week I finally made the decision to put off my CNRN test until the spring. It cost to delay it but I want to get this first one retaken and passed before I start on another one - think it will give me a better attitude and won't be quite so stressful. I literally have a stack of papers a foot high for the second test and getting through that by the end of this month was overwhelming. I felt better the minute I made the decision. Now I'm reviewing and studying to get this first one out of the way. Plus I have some surgery planned for the first of November and don't want all this hanging over me. But on to more exciting things!

First of all today I have my card for Unscripted Sketches. Used some Core'dinations and embossed it with the snowflake embossing plate and then also used a piece of the Jenni Bowlin collection. The stamp is one I got from C.C. Designs. Then I added some sparkly fluff and some glitter from Martha Stewart to pop her image.

Next I have my card for The Sweet Stop this week. For this I used one of the images from their store and then some papers and goodies from my last year's Halloween Noel Mignon kit.

Oh and then I finally finished my card for CPS this week. Used some Scenic Route for this together with this cute stamp byMotivet.

I plan to have more tomorrow to show and will try to post again. Thanks for stopping by!

Sunday Sharing!

Ok my friend at work was upset because I only posted two cards last week (well had a REALLY good excuse - was driving Brandy to LA!) so today I wanted to make up for it. First of all I have a card I did with one of the adorable images from Designed 2 Delight that Faith created. I used some Core'dinations Black Magic on this and a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The papers and tag are from another Noel Mignon kit.

The next card is for the Card Patterns sketch this week - pulled out some Basic Grey for this one and a Unity stamp. Added some Queen & Co. beading.

The last card is for Lily of the Valley challenge blog and of course I used a Lily of the Valley stamp on this. The papers are all from the Noel Mignon kit.

Thanks for stopping by - now off to play with some Core'dinations papers - so many new goodies and never enough time to play with them.1
