SATW and Creative Embellishments

Creative Embellishments has paired  up with SATW to take their challenge.  For my page I took my inspiration from several things here - the color, the beach and the word explore.
Here's my take -photo of little Gavin (adopted grandbaby through my daughter's bff's baby) during a day we spent with him on the beach of Galveston.

And some close ups of the chipboard.  Here I have used some TH distress stain in tarnished brass.  Then I added some Jenni Bowlin Chicken Feed to make it look more rustic.  The flourish I treated with Heidi Swapp's Citron.

The chipboard and stamps I have used are as follows:

Creative Embellishments

Today I'm up on the Creative Embellishments blog.  I wanted to share a couple of cards I made with some of the chipboard.  First up is the birthday card using the Pansies chipboard.  I painted them and then used some darker paint to add some dimension. For the second card I used some of the Flourish Butterfly Set 2  together with part of a Moroccan Lattice Panel set.  I've show the chipboard I used and the links to the store.

Creative Embellishments

Today I'm up on the Creative Embellishments blog and I have a page for you using some of the awesome chipboard that they have available.  I've used the Leafy Vine Frame,  the Happy Word Set  and the Distressed Crackle Stamp.

Some close ups of the chipboard.  I have treated the frame with Heidi Swapps Citron stray.  The Word set I sprayed with red spray and then added glitter to it.

And the chipboard and stamp that I used are:

Creative Embellishments plus Scrap Africa

Today we start a new challenge over at Creative Embellishments.  Please jump over to the blog to see all the inspiration that the Design Team has to show off.  Here's my take on it - I was inspired by the colors and the fairies.

And some close ups!

I was also asked by Denise Van Deventer to be a Guest Designer over at Scrap Africa this month so this is what I created as my take on her sketch.
